Are you looking for a different approach to learning French and wish to immerse yourself in the “French way of life”? Whether you are an enthusiast, a passionate individual, or a professional, if you would truly like to better understand French culture and the specifics of wine and vineyards in France and the South-West, this is for you.

Our FRENCH + OENOLOGY course combines group French classes at our French school with wine-tasting workshops, centred on French and South-Western wines. This takes place in a cellar led by a professional oenologist/wine merchant.

This is a unique experience to develop your French skills. Discover and learn to recognise French and South-Western wines and vineyards. This is achieved through tastings, “food and wine pairings,” and sharing a friendly moment with other participants.

The tasting course is conducted at a professional wine merchant’s, in the centre of Toulouse, near our French school.

Improve all your French language skills.
Learn how to taste French wines from the South-West and describe your experience, which is guided by the advice of a professional oenologist.
Enrich your practical wine vocabulary, senses and sensations, and refine your knowledge of the French terroir.
Come and gain a better understanding of the fundamental principles of food and wine pairings whilst sharing your experience with other participants in a friendly atmosphere.

The French + cooking course is available all year round (except in December and August)
It is combined with our essential, standard or intensive French course
These workshops take place in the afternoon or evening – with the schedule being provided to you the week before the course starts.

You have the option to combine this FRENCH + OENOLOGY course with one cooking workshop per week. Food and wine pairings will no longer hold any secrets from you!
The tastings take place outside of the school premises, with our partner wine merchants being easily accessible on foot or by metro!
