Every month, discover our activity program. This is built around your lesson schedule, which enables you to participate in our cultural, sports, or social activities. This also applies to our day excursions around the region. At Langue Onze we offer you a variety of both free and paid activities. These happen within the school premises and outside the premises.
Not only will you build lasting connections, exchange experiences, and have fun, but you will also fall in love with Toulouse. You will be in love with the Pink City’s way of life as well as the cuisine of southwestern France!
You can’t help but be charmed by Toulouse, with its two thousand years of history, way of life, café terraces and restaurants, and its gastronomy. Just like the Occitanie region itself, the Pink City (the capital of the region) has lots of surprises in store for you!
On your first day at Langue Onze, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of the city. This will help you navigate and explore the most iconic spots of the city, including the Capitole Square, the banks of the Daurade with a view of the Dôme de la Grave, the Saint-Sernin Basilica, the Jacobins Convent, the Hôtel D’Assézat, and many more. Lose yourself in the charm of Toulouse and its architechture.

Southwestern France cuisine is renowned for being both indulgent and generous. Langue Onze organizes various activities focusing on French gastronomy, especially that of regional cuisine: cheese tastings, cooking workshops, local restaurants, and more. You will have the opportunity to discover the finest locations and dining establishments Toulouse has to offer.
An integral part of staying in France is of course, discovering wine. Toulouse is in a league of its own regarding appellations, such as Madiran, Fronton, Gaillac, and more. Here at Langue Onze, we invite you to explore the art of wine tasting at renowned wine locations in the heart of the city. You can even visit regional vinyards!
A couple of times a month, Langue Onze Toulouse organizes a full-day excursion in the Toulouse region, usually taking place on Saturdays.
Here you can discover the magnificent medieval castle, which was classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1986! In the morning, you will be able to explore the ramparts of Carcassonne, its Basilica, and its cobbled streets. Following this, in the afternoon you will discover the Comtal Castle, a true fortress and once home of the Counts of Carcassonne. After all this, you will be able to enjoy some free time to enjoy things at your own pace and why not do a bit of shopping?
Discover Albi and its UNESCO-listed city. You will be charmed by the cathedral which is built entirely out of bricks and immerse yourself in the art of Toulouse Lautrec!
On the very same day, you will find your head in the clouds at the Cordes sur Ciel. This medieval city, which is almost 800 years old has a remarkable architectural heritage. It invites you on a unique cultural, artistic, and gastronomic journey.
Depending on the season, Langue Onze enables you to enjoy the richness of the Occitanie region by offering days in the Pyrénées mountains. Or, by the Mediterranean Sea near Narbonne and the Clape massif, in Tarn, or the Lauragais region!

The world capital of aeronautics is home to the headquarters of the aircraft manufacturer AIRBUS (which was born more than 50 years ago)! Visit the Airbus sites with the latest generations of aeroplanes and their production lines.
The visit can be complemented by a trip to the aerospace museum, AEROSCOPIA, which houses a phenomenal aeroplane collection. This is perfect for those who have always dreamed of stepping into the cockpit of the legend that is Concorde.
La Halle de La Machine invites you on a journey through the tales and legends of extraordinary mechanical creations. Let yourself be guided, carried away, and amazed by the team of True Machinists who operate the machines daily. Bringing machines to life right before your eyes.
The city has plenty of museums which house Toulouse’s history (Musée des Augustins, Musée du Vieux Toulouse, le Castelet, l’Envol des Pionniers) but also have a strong focus on contemporary arts (Musée des Abattoirs) and scientific culture (Quai des Savoirs).). Toulouse also has its own MUSEUM of Natural History and Ethnology!
Toulouse hosts both national and international productions in iconic venues such as the Opéra du Capitole, the Halle aux grains, the Comédie de Toulouse, the concert hall, Le Bikini, or the Zénith. Enhance your French film culture by watching a French film at a Toulouse cinema. You will be accompanied by our passionate teacher or have the option to watch a French film with commentary by a teacher. Both of these activities are offered by Langue Onze to enhance your French film culture!
Cinema, dance, music, theatre, comedy, and more – festivals happen all year round in Toulouse! Langue Onze will take you to the most iconic ones within the city: Rio Loco, Cine Latino, le festival Flamenco, le Marathon des Mots, Impulsez, etc.
Toulouse is located near the Pyrenees and the Black Mountain and was built where the Garonne River crosses the Canal du Midi. Subsequently, Toulouse and its region offer a range of sports and outdoor activities. Langue Onze offers outdoor activities so you can take full advantage of every season.
Discover this southwestern France traditional game. The Basque pelota incorporates a variety of ball games that originated from the game of paume. The game consists of hitting the ball, either on the volley or after a bounce, against a main wall called the fronton. The ball then falls back onto the playing area known as the cancha.
Explore Toulouse by cycling along the Garonne River and the Canal du Midi. The later of which is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

Toulouse is located only 90 minutes away from the closest ski slopes in the Pyrenees. During winter, take advantage of an excursion to enjoy the mountain air. Spend the day on the slopes skiing or relaxing, ending the day with a luxurious cup of hot chocolate before heading back! All levels are accepted!
During the beautiful season, enjoy a lovely day exploring the region’s landscapes, elevated walks and admire nature and the beautiful Occitan countryside.

This is an opportunity to discover a new café, tea room, or iconic bar in the city. Here you will engage in conversations and build connections in French with fellow students on a Langue Onze guide.
Enjoy a game-filled afternoon to discover or rediscover board games in French, all while having some light competitive fun. This activity can be organized either at the school (we have plenty of games) or at a board game café in Toulouse!
Our incredible teacher Kevin, who is passionate about video games, will introduce you to a selection of the most famous Nintendo games. Take on the challenge either alone or in a team, but always in French. Laughter is guaranteed!
Do you have the desire to explore French literature? Our teacher Myrthe provides you with the opportunity to read short texts or stories and discuss them together as a group!
This is well and truly the EVENT of the year at Langue Onze and where everyone participates! As part of Francophone Month, teachers spend a week preparing a French song with their morning class. At the end of the week, each group sings their so song in front of everyone. Even the Langue Onze team gets involved and has to sing in a language which is not French. Everyone gets to vote for the best performance!
Throughout the year, Langue Onze organises karaoke evenings in Toulouse!
