Langue Onze Toulouse is an examination centre approved by the French education authority for DELF / DALF diplomas in French.
The DELF (diploma in French language studies) is the diploma of reference for learners of French, certifying their level of proficiency according to the CEFR levels. The last two levels (C1 and C2) are assessed by the DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language). The DELF / DALF certification is valid for life. To maximize your chances of success, we offer preparation courses for these diplomas in French as a foreign language.
The DELF/DALF diploma is often required for foreigners who wish to apply to a French university or higher education establishment in France. The minimum level required is typically B2.
This diploma can also be used to prove your level of French when applying for French nationality, for which a minimum level of B1 is required.
If you are considering settling in Quebec, you will need to demonstrate a French language proficiency level of at least B2 to obtain a visa.
Langue Onze Toulouse also provides other French certifications, such as TCF Tout Public or TCF IRN. These also allow you to prove your French proficiency level for the same purposes.
The DELF/DALF assesses candidates’ four main language skills in the French language:
The test is made up of four papers, and the difficulty, format and types of questions vary according to the level chosen. Each test is marked out of 25 points and a mark of less than 5 is eliminatory. To pass the exam, you must score a minimum of 50/100 points. The duration of the exam varies depending on the level.
